Samuel I totally get a persons prerogative to deny the supernatural, thinking that believing in it would make them dumb or crazy or whatever, but there comes a point where denying what's right in front of you makes you the dumb one and this girl passed that point 10 chapters ago. I'm genuinely wracking my brain rn if I've ever read a protagonist so stupid with her priorities so ridiculously out of order.
